"We gladly feast on those who would subdue us."
Just in case you wanted to follow my advice for gifting, here are a couple of movies I enjoyed watching this year: Night Train to Munich has everything you could want in a war caper: evil Nazi doctor, a concentration camp escape, covers stories, double crosses. Plus, Rex Harrison circa 1940 is a dish. I also watched Chungking Express for the first time, and found it to be delightfully light and romp-ish, as compared to Wong Kar-wai's moodier films. But they're all good!

I wrote the gayest book you will ever read. It's called The Complete Lockpick Pornography, and it is two books about dealing with homophobia and violence in two very different ways. In We All Got it Coming, the main character approaches it trying not to give in to anger, trying to understand his attacker. In Lockpick Pornography, the main characters approach homophobia the other way. The other way essentially being genderqueer terrorism. I hope you like it!
